We’re an events studio based in Perth, WA, and we offer full event design, styling, and planning services – covering everything from flowers and lighting to furniture, signage, and custom touches that tie your vision together seamlessly.

Meet Abbey

Hi I’m Abbey, founder of SDC and queen of the to-do list. Planning has been my thing since day one – as a kid, our family dinners were full-on productions with menus, place cards and (of course) scheduled performances.

I was (and still am!) that friend who couldn’t help but take charge of every plan (much to everyone’s eye-rolls and mock groans). I took control of every family brunch and casual get-together; with the to-do list completed, the schedule in hand, and the whole vibe locked in.

Fast forward through years of corporate event magic, luxury hospitality gigs, and my own wedding (where I loved the planning so much I didn’t want it to end), and here we are: the Spanish Daisy Club. I’m a natural-born organiser, a teeeny bit OCD, and I absolutely love pulling the pieces together to make sure everything runs smoothly. I am a lover of great design, beautiful florals, a shiny disco ball and aaaaall the dogs.

Officially, I’m your wedding and event planner. Unofficially? I’m your new bestie, your problem solver, your budget guru, your personal cheerleader, and your go-to for the best margaritas in Perth.

I can’t wait to meet you and create an event for you that is truly unforgettable.

Story behind

Spanish Daisy Club

The name? That’s a nod to Abbey’s love for margaritas and her childhood afternoons making daisy chains with her Nan – someone who could turn even a simple tea party into something special. “Daisy” comes from the Spanish word margarita, and daisies symbolise harmony and blending things beautifully – kind of like the perfect cocktail, or the events we create.

At Spanish Daisy Club, we believe in the perfect mix – whether it’s styling your dream event or shaking up the ultimate margarita. And when it comes to margis, I don’t mess around.

A good vino friend put me onto this recipe years ago, and it’s been my ride-or-die ever since. The key? An even ratio, fresh ingredients, and no unnecessary fuss.

Ingredients & instructions

1 shot cointreau – smooth, citrusy, essential.
1 shot tequila – the good stuff. (No mezcal – sorry, not for me.)
1 shot freshly squeezed lime juice – bottled juice? Not in this club.

Salt rim: Just enough. Over-salted glasses? Absolutely not.
Ice: Not my vibe, but you do you.
Spicy? Depends on the mood, but I’m always up for a little heat.

Tommys Margi? I’ll have one if someone buys me one, but agave isn’t my thing.
